“It is unforgivable as a professional player that Thirdy Ravena hit the Toyama Grouses official partner board and partially damaged it after the match on Sunday,” the statement read.
Ravena was visibly frustrated after missing what could’ve been the game-tying free throw with 0.6 tenths of a second left against the Grouses.
The crucial miss spoiled a big night by Ravena, who finished with a game-high 26 points that went with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals as San-En dropped its sixth straight setback.
San-En is currently 19th in a 22-team field with a 3-11 record.
