F2 breezes past Baguio; Petro Gazz also goes 2-0

/ 04:01 AM November 22, 2021

F2 Logistics notched a second straight lopsided win in the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champions League on Sunday, which is more meaningful for the squad considering that Ara Galang, the superstar open spiker who is recovering from a knee injury, was able to get herself more time on the court and get back her feel for the game.

Galang scored just five points in the Cargo Movers’ 25-12, 25-10, 25-6 rout of the Baguio Lady Highlanders at Aquamarine Recreation Center, but coach Ramil de Jesus knows that it was exposure spent well with F2 up for its first acid test on Monday against Petro Gazz.

“I just focus on what I can contribute to the team, I just missed playing,” said Galang, who has tallied a combined nine points in F2’s first two wins. “I guess it’s the same for the fans, who missed watching us play.”
