F2 dominates PetroGazz, stays unbeaten
With Kalei Mau firing at will, F2 Logistics ambushed PetroGazz, 25-16, 25-23, 25-14 on Monday night, keeping its record clean after three games and making dramatic inroads to its first title in two years.
Mau scored 21 points for the Cargo Movers, who are now the only unbeaten team in the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champions League women’s championships.
“I think we did pretty good. I can’t say I did well, but it was my teammates,” said Mau. “Iris (Tolenada) and I worked very hard on our connection during our bubble training. So am really, really very proud of her. Without her I couldn’t make those points.”
