Kaya regains UFL lead, turns back Nomads
KAYA edged Nomads Auction Manila, 2-1, last night to climb back to the top of the United Football League at the University of Makati field.
Goals from Alu Kigbu and Joshua Beloya in each half secured the maximum points for Kaya, which also needed a solid performance from substitute goalkeeper Russel Pierson.
Kaya’s early dominance paid off when Kigbu scored from close range in the 40th minute, before Beloya’s volley 10 minutes into the second half doubled the advantage.
