Chery Tiggo dealt with the Baguio Highlanders with relative ease on Wednesday and will come into its virtual finale with unbeaten F2 oozing with the confidence it needs.

The Pro Crossovers needed just one hour to pull out a 25-13, 25-17, 25-14 win in the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champions League at Aquamarine in Lipa City, Batangas, and will take that dominant feeling as they try to prevent the Cargo Movers from sweeping the tournament on Thursday.

“It’s going to be an exciting match. We always like to compete with seasoned teams,” said Chery Tiggo coach Aaron Velez. “We have high respect and high regards to F2 and hopefully it’s going to be a game that we have to remember.”

The odds are stacked against the Pro Crossovers, though, as they need to defeat the Cargo Movers—who at 4-0 have not given up a set so far—in four sets or less to nail the championship.

Armed with an edge in number of sets won, F2 Logistics can wrap up the title merely by dragging Chery Tiggo into a five-setter.

Earlier, Casiey Dongallo and Jelaica Gajero scored 22 points to power the California Precision Sports to an 18-25, 12-25, 25-22, 25-14, 15-13 stunner over PetroGazz.
