Charly Suarez looks to continue winning ways in 10-rounder vs Pellio
MANILA, Philippines—Charly Suarez aims to make a statement against Delmar Pellio in a 10-round super featherweight bout on December 4 at Elorde Sports Complex in Parañaque City.
Suarez, a three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, will headline the event alongside another undefeated Filipino prospect in Carl Jammes Martin.

The 33-year-old Suarez, who made his pro debut just two years ago, stakes his perfect 8-0 record against fellow unbeaten Pellio (9-0, 4KOs).
Another win by Suarez, who represented the country in the 2016 Rio Olympics, would get him closer to a regional title fight and eventually a shot at a world crown if he keeps it up.

Suarez said he’s kept himself in shape amid the pandemic as he anticipates an action-packed fight.
“I never stopped training even when the pandemic started. That’s why I’ve been able to maintain my weight,” he said.
“I’ve studied Pellio. She’s young and undefeated also. He also wants to beat me so this is going to be a good fight.”
