MANILA, Philippines—The Portland Trail Blazers are one with Filipinos in celebrating Bonifacio Day on Tuesday.

The Blazers did it through Facebook where their social media team posted updates during the game against the Utah Jazz in Filipino.

They even posted a visual of Damian Lillard as a Katipunero just like national hero Andres Bonifacio, one of the founders of Katipunan, which led the Philippine revolution against Spanish rule.

However, no hero showed up for the Blazers in a 107-129 loss to the Jazz on the road.

Lillard, who has been struggling mightily this season, had another off night with just 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting from the field.

Jusuf Nurkic had team-highs of 24 points and 10 rebounds for Portland, which dropped to 10-11. Anfernee Simons came off the bench and also scored 24 points.

Donovan Mitchell delivered a game-high 30 points, Rudy Gobert collected 21 points and 16 rebounds while Fil-American Jordan Clarkson added 22 points off the bench for the Jazz (14-7).
