The Dyip improved to a 1-1 card in the conference while the Elasto Painters slid the same slate.

Hester then extended that scoring streak to a 9-0 run driving for a layup to give the Dyip a 112-104 lead with 10 seconds to play.
Though Terrafirma controlled overtime, assistant coach Gian Nazario said it was Aldrech Ramos’ clutch three-pointer that tied the game 98-98 with seven seconds left in regulation that boosted his team’s morale heading into the extra frame.
“I think it would be that last shot by Aldrech that sent the game into overtime that changed the complexion of the game because we’re going to another five minutes,” said Nazario who filled in for head coach Johnedel Cardel who was suffering from back strains.
“We’re lucky we have Alex who can be another coach because we know coach John is recovering from his injury.”
Hester finished with a game-high 40 points with 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block to lead the Dyip while Cabagnot added 15 points, eight rebounds, and 11 assists.
Rey Nambatac and Henry Walker both had 25 points to lead Rain or Shine.
