MANILA, Philippines—The family of Terrafirma 3×3 player Roider Cabrera has asked for help as the forward remains in a vegetative state at Medical City Hospital’s intensive care unit.

Rachaleen Cabrera, the sister of Roider, posted on Facebook that they’re still waiting for the big man to fully recover after suffering a cardiac arrest on November 24 following one of the Dyip’s games in the PBA 3×3 tournament at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

“As of the moment, he’s still in ICU and in a vegetative state. As we all wait for him to be fully recovered, we ask for your continuous prayers,” wrote Rachaleen.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to Terrafirma Dyip management for all the help and financial support since day one.”

Roider, 30, underwent a successful angioplasty, the process to clear out coronary arteries, on December 4 but remains in a difficult situation nearly two weeks after the operation.

Willing donors may send their donations through Roider and Rachaleen’s accounts.
