MANILA, Philippines—Jhanlo Sangiao had a dominating debut in his international career, submitting Indonesian veteran Paul Lumihi via rear naked choke 1:41 into the first round of their bantamweight bout in ONE: Winter Warriors 2 Friday at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

After absorbing a crisp left hook from Lumihi, Jhanlo went back to his offense pestering the 33-year-old with more punches before shooting for a takedown.

Jhano, who initially wanted to finish the fight via twister, finally got Lumihi’s back and locked in the rear naked choke.

“It was my dream since I was a kid, thank you so much to my team, my family, my coach, my dad,” said Jhanlo who also thanked ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Jhanlo is now at 4-0 in his professional career and in the process sent Lumihi (7-6) to his fifth straight loss.
