MANILA, Philippines—NorthPort guard Robert Bolick announced on New Year’s Day that he is engaged to girlfriend Cassandra Yu.
Bolick took to Instagram to reveal his engagement to Yu, whom he revealed as his girlfriend in October 2021.
“Let’s start 2022 right! Damn! They say when you start a war, you better know what you’re fighting for, and you, are all I adore, because whether or not if you see it, you made everything better,” wrote Bolick.
“An engagement marks the end of a whirlwind romance and the beginning of an eternal love story. This is the start of our sweet little story, the part where your page meets mine, no matter where our tale takes us tomorrow, our story will always read.”
Bolick has enjoyed a fairly successful run in the PBA having been named to the PBA All-Rookie Team in 2019 after getting picked third overall in the 2018 Draft behind CJ Perez and Bobby Ray Parks Jr.
The 6-foot-1 point guard also won three NCAA titles with San Beda and one UAAP championship with San Beda.
Bolick last had a lengthy relationship with Aby Maraño, the national women’s volleyball team captain.
