MANILA, Philippines–A day after his stellar showing, Dwight Ramos played limited minutes as Toyama failed to repeat over Akita on Sunday in the 2021-2022 Japan B.League.

The Grouses fell to the Northern Happinets, 80-64, less than 24 hours after pulling off a 99-91 stunner in their inter-conference matchup on Saturday.

Ramos only played a little over eight minutes in the loss with six points to his name before he was subbed out after a collision. He scored 22 points–16 in the fourth quarter–the night before to rescue Toyama.

Jordan Glynn led Akita in the winning effort with 22 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Ramos was the lone Filipino import in action this weekend with only five Division 1 games played as COVID-19 prompted the postponement of the rest of the schedule.

The B.League has also canceled its All-Star festivities. Celest Flores-Colina
