MANILA, Philippines—Juan Gomez De Liaño and Japan B.League division 2 club Earthfriends Tokyo Z have parted ways.
Tokyo Z on Tuesday announced it has ended its contract with the Filipino guard.

“At Earthfriends Tokyo Z, we have decided to cancel the contract for the B.LEAGUE 2021-22 season after mutual agreement with Juan Gomez De Liano,” the team said in a statement.
De Liaño is expected to be on the “free negotiation player list” where he can be picked up by other teams.
The 22-year-old averaged 5.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 17 games for Tokyo Z.
The team owns the second-worst record in the league with a 5-25 record.
