MANILA, Philippines—Filipino fans wishing to watch the 2023 Fiba World Cup can secure limited passes via early bird pricing.

There will be 1,100 Follow my Team Pass-Philippines tickets that will be sold through Fiba’s official website, fiba.basketball, from March 1 to 31.

The Follow my Team Pass-Philippines will include all five Gilas Pilipinas games in the group stages of the Fiba World Cup, which is set for August 25 to September 10 next year.

“The journey for the Fiba World Cup 2023 in Manila starts now. Be the first to support your Goals team by purchasing the Follow my Team Pass-Philippines,” said SBP President Al Panlilio, who also serves as Fiba Asia vice president. “Together let’s win for all.”

Ticket prices for the Philippines’ group stage are P2,499 for Category 5 (general admission), P23,499 for Category 4 (upper box), P41,499 for Category 3 (lower box regular), and P52, 999 for Category 2 (lower box premium).

SBP said that Smart Araneta Coliseum, Mall of Asia Arena, and Philippine Arena will serve as venues for the Fiba World Cup as the Philippines share hosting duties with Indonesia and Japan.

All three venues in the Philippines already hosted Fiba tournaments with the Big Dome already serving as the backdrop for the 1978 World Basketball Championship, the first time the Philippines was named host of the tournament.

MOA Arena became home of the 2013 Fiba Asia Championship and the 2016 Olympic Qualifying Tournament while Philippine Arena was the venue of the 2019 Fiba Basketball World Cup qualifiers as well as the Fiba 3×3 Basketball World Cup.
