MANILA, Philippines—Dindin Santiago-Manabat is set to play in the Thailand League to join Mylene Paat at Nakhon Ratchasima.

Santiago-Manabat, who plays for Chery Tiggo in the Premier Volleyball League,  will stay with the Devil Cat until the end of the Thailand League in March, said Crossovers team manager Ronwald Dimaculangan.

“Yes, it’s confirmed Dindin will play for Nakhon Ratchasima,” said Dimaculangan.

Santiago-Manabat is making her return to overseas volleyball with Nakhon Ratchasima becoming her third club outside the country.

This will be the first time that she will be teaming up with another Filipino in Paat overseas.

The 6-foot-2 wing spiker first left the Philippines in 2018 to play for the Toray Arrows in the Japan V.League before joining the Kurobe AquaFairies in 2019.

Santiago-Manabat was an integral part in Chery Tiggo’s title run in the 2021 PVL Open Conference. The Crossovers, though, settled for silver medal in the 2021 Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champions League, losing to F2 Logistics in the final.

Apart from Santiago-Manabat and Paat, Jaja Santiago and Kalei Mau are also playing overseas.

Santiago is on her fifth year with the Saitama Ageo Medics in Japan while Mau is with Athletes Unlimited in the United States.
