MANILA, Philippines—The Taichung Suns turned to Jordan Heading to repeat over Jason Brickman and the Kaohsiung Aquas, 104-89, Friday in the T1 League in Taiwan.
Heading, the Gilas Pilipinas guard, fired 28 points that went with three rebounds and four assists in a duel against Brickman.
The red-hot Suns chalked up their fourth straight win to improve to 6-5.
Brickman, who is tipped as one of the top picks in this year’s PBA draft, showcased his all-around play with a season-high 12 assists on top of seven points, five rebounds and two steals.
The league-leading Aquas lost for just the second time—both against the Suns—in 11 games.
Taichung clipped Kaosiung 93-88, in their first meeting last month.
