MANILA, Philippines—Balipure set up camp in Pampanga to starts its 40-day bubble training ahead of the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The revamped Water Defenders, who acquired eight new players, will hold their training camp at Colegio de Sebastian starting Saturday.

Jho Maraguinot leads the 14 players while John Abella is at the helm of the coaching staff of the 2017 Open Conference champion.

Balipure will stay at Colegio de Sebastian until March 15, a day before the start of the 2022 Open Conference.

Those attending the camp are Maraguinot, Marian Buitre, Julia Ipac, Alyssa Eroa, Jamie Lavitoria, Rap Aguilar, Janine Marciano, Patty Orendain, Bern Flora, Alina Bicar, Gen Casugod, Sati Espiritu, Gyra Barroga, and Carly Hernandez.

The Water Defenders finished with a 3-6 record for the eighth seed in the 2021 Open Conference with one of their wins coming over eventual champion Chery Tiggo.
