MANILA, Philippines—Dominique Sutton will make his return to the PBA after Phoenix signed him for the 2021-22 Governors’ Cup.
Fuel Masters team manager Paolo Bugia said Sutton will be with the team come Sunday against TNT at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“Sutton will suit up already this Sunday,” said Bugia.
Phoenix also announced Sutton’s signing on its Instagram account.

Sutton previously played for NorthPort, which was going by Globalport then, in the 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup but he stayed with the team for less than two months after he was granted a release following a workout offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 6-foot-5 forward last played for Al-Ahli Club of Manama in Bahrain.
Phoenix had Paul Harris in the first five games of the conference but the former TNT and Barangay Ginebra import has yet to fully recover from the hamstring injury he sustained on Christmas.
The Fuel Masters also had former San Beda big man Donald Tankoua during the break but the three-time NCAA champion was only signed as a backup.
