TOKYO — Serbia, Japan and South Korea all secured berths for the London Games at a women’s volleyball Olympic qualifying tournament on Sunday.
Serbia beat Japan 18-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 15-9 in the final match to finish in third place with 14 points. Japan needed to win two sets in the match to finish in fourth place and grab the final berth for London.
South Korea wrapped up its spot for the Olympics when it beat Peru 25-11, 25-18, 25-21 earlier Sunday to finish in second place with 15 points.
Russia, which secured its place on Saturday, beat Taiwan 25-14, 25-17, 25-17 to close out the tournament in first place with a perfect 7-0 record.
