MANILA, Philippines—Adelaide 36ers’ and Kai Sotto fell to their second straight loss, failing to escape Sydney, 93-90, in the National Basketball League Sunday at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Jaylen Adams delivered the Kings to the victory hitting a three-pointer with 3.5 seconds to play to secure their fifth straight win.

Dusty Hannahs tied the game for the 36ers with 47.1 seconds remaining driving to the basket as Sydney’s defense opened up for an easy layup.

Adams finished with 26 points, seven assists, and three steals to lead the Kings while Xavier Cooks added 25 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks.

Hannahs had a team-high 24 points off the bench for Adelaide while Cameron Bairstow added 18 points and eight rebounds.

Sotto had a paltry line of two points, on 1-of-4 shooting, and one steal in 11 minutes of play.

The loss sent the 36ers to a 5-9 record at the eighth seed.
