Superal takes three-shot lead after 69
Princess Superal drained three of her four birdies coming home on Thursday to shoot a three-under-par 69 and wrest a three-stroke lead over Chanelle Avaricio going into the final round of the P750,000 ICTSI Hallow Ridge Ladies Challenge in San Pedro, Laguna.
After a third hole birdie was negated by her only dropped shot on No. 5, Superal buckled down to work by picking up shots on the 10th, 13th and 18th for a 142 aggregate as Avaricio, who started the day tied for the lead, mixed three birdies against the same number of bogeys for a 72.

Harmie Constantino and Chihiro Ikeda carded a 75 and 74, respectively, to be seven adrift as Superal guns for her first win of the year using the same game plan she has in the first 36 holes.
“It will still be all about positioning your ball for the next shot,” Superal said. “And hopefully, I make more putts.”
