NCAA: EAC posts 2nd win, keeps JRU winless

MANILA, Philippines— Emilio Aguinaldo pounced on a discordant Jose Rizal to prevail, 80-65, and pick up its second win in the NCAA Season 97 men’s basketball tournament at La Salle Greenhills Gym.
The Generals zoomed to a 41-27 first half lead and never looked back to improve to 2-3, while handing the Heavy Bombers’ their fifth defeat in as many games.

Marwin Taywan came off the bench with 14 points, five assists and five rebounds for the Generals who opted to start with 5-foot-5 Charles Cadua at the point guard position.
