NCAA: Justin Arana leads Arellano past Mapua

MANILA, Philippines—Justin Arana came through with crucial baskets amid an enemy uprising to lift Arellano over Mapua, 72-63, Sunday in the NCAA Season 97 men’s basketball at La Salle Greenhills Gym.

The Chiefs broke their three-game losing skid for a 2-3 record and handed the Cardinals their second straight defeat for a 3-2.

The 6-foot-7 Arana finished with 17 points, 15 rebounds as Arellano came closer to the play-in playoffs.
