Zaragoza, Shin set title clash

RUPERT Zaragosa survived LJ Go, 1-up and will clash with Korean expatriate Micah Shin today for the National Golf Association of the Philippines’ Mindanao Regional Championship at tree-lined Apo Golf in Davao.

The pint-sized Zaragosa watched as Go flubbed a golden chance to take their match into extra holes when the Cebu Country Club standout missed a five-footer for birdie on the 18th that put an end to a gripping final four showdown in the event forming part of the NGAP-Globe Amateur circuit.

Shin ousted Del Monte’s Magno Arancon, 3&2 in the event also backed by Pancake House, Titleist and Golf Depot. Musong R. Castillo
