PBA: Ginebra trumps Meralco

MANILA, Philippines—Ginebra bounced back convincingly with a 100-73 triumph over hapless Meralco Saturday night in the PBA Governors’ Cup road game in Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.

Import Cedric Bozeman and Mark Caguioa provided the firepower for the Gin Kings, who collected their second victory, with 27 and 22 points, respectively.

The Gin Kings turned a close contest into a full on rout the by fourth quarter, stretching a 56-55 edge midway the third to as big as 27 points.

Sol Mercado poured 23 points for the Bolts, who have lost two in a row, while import Champ Oguchi added 16 points in a losing effort.

Mac Cardona and Chris Ross, though, combined for a measly two points.
