MANILA, Philippines—Far Eastern University firmed up its hold of a Final Four ticket after thrashing University of Santo Tomas, 109-65, Sunday on the last day of eliminations of the UAAP Season 84 men’s basketball tournament at Mall of Asia Arena.

The Tamaraws posted their seventh win in 14 matches, and in the process, eliminating the Adamson Falcons from the semifinal race.

FEU can march outright to the next round if National University loses to La Salle later in the day. Otherwise, they clash for the last Final Four spot.

The Tigers’ top guard Joshua Fontanilla, who because of the pandemic just had a one-and-done stint, ended his UAAP career with 13 points as UST closed out the season with a 3-11 record.
