Powerade subdues Talk ’N Text; Sneed finally explodes with 32 points
MANILA, Philippines—Powerade took over in the third quarter and held on to defeat Talk N’ Text, 110-105, Sunday in the 2012 PBA Governors Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Tigers overhauled a seven-point deficit at the half to a 100-89 edge in the fourth period—never trailing again for their second straight victory.
Import Omar Sneed finally showed how far he could go on both ends of the floor as he followed up a 13-point opening game last Friday with a 32-point explosion, which went along with 23 rebounds.

Rey Guevarra had another consistent showing off the bench with 11 points—highlighted by two thunderous slams and a bucket that gave the Tigers an 11-point lead with under 5 minutes left.
The Texters, who reeled to their third loss in the conference, lost grip of the lead they built early in the game and still fell short in their rally toward the end.
