UAAP: Adamson bounces back, dumps UE

MANILA, Philippines—Adamson found a perfect rebound by thrashing University of the East, 25-16, 25-14, 25-9, Saturday in the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball tournament at Mall of Asia Arena.
Heartbroken by its five-set loss to University of Santo Tomas last Thursday, Adamson didn’t hold punches against hapless UE, scoring its fifth win in nine matches.
“Before the game, we reminded them about the aggressiveness that they have to work hard for every ball and that’s what they did even though we had minor errors,” said Adamson head coach Lerma Giron in Filipino.
“But so far, their performance has been good.”
Trisha Genesis topscored with 13 points, while May Ann Nuique and Kate Santiago added nine each points for the Lady Falcons.
The Lady Warriors remained winless after nine games.
