UAAP volleyball: Adamson pounces on FEU for back-to-back wins

MANILA, Philippines–Adamson strung up a second straight win after a 25-17, 25-17, 25-16 triumph over Far Eastern University Tuesday in the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball at Mall of Asia Arena.
The Lady Falcons went all out right from the get-go and never gave the Lady Tamaraws a chance as they scored their sixth win in 10 matches.
Article continues after this advertisement“We prepared hard for this because we wanted to win this one. We’re taking it one game at a time to reach the Final Four,” said Adamson head coach Lerma Giron in Filipino.
The Lady Tamaraws stumbled to their seventh consecutive defeat to fall to 1-9.
Louie Romero tossed 17 excellent sets including those for May Ann Nuique and Riza Cruz who scored 12 and 11, respectively for Adamson.
