MANILA, Philippines — Dawn Macandili got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Diego Catindig.
The Philippine women’s volleyball team libero shared on Instagram that she and Catindig are taking their relationship to the next level.
Macandili said yes to her beau’s proposal during the Hot Air Balloon Fest in Clark, Pampanga.
“About last night, #ISaidYAAAS” the F2 Logistics star wrote.
Macandili was with her former La Salle teammates CJ Saga and Des Cheng during her special night.
The 26-year-old libero recently represented the country in the 31st Southeast Asian Games.
The former UAAP Finals MVP was listed in the national team’s roster that will face Thailand in an international friendly on Saturday at San Juan Arena.
The Filipino Spikers will also play Japan in an exhibition game on Sunday before the Volleyball Nations League Week 2 opener on Tuesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
