Avaricio completes wire-to-wire win
Chanelle Avaricio did just enough in the final round on Friday, returning a level par 72 to win the P750,000 ICTSI Pradera Verde Ladies Classic by six shots and complete one of the most dominant performances the tour has seen recently.
Avaricio drained three birdies against the same number of bogeys for a 54-hole 211 with Chihiro Ikeda and Sarah Ababa checking in second after closing out with a 74 and 73, respectively.

Ikeda came to within two with a birdie on No. 7, before the eventual champ bounced back by picking a shot on No. 8 to sit on another four-cushion at the turn after Ikeda bogeyed the ninth.
It was cruise control for the Alabama State U alumna at the back, before Ikeda’s bogeys on Nos. 13 and 15 gave Ababa the opening to claim a second place tie.
