Olympic-style triathlon set in Bohol
More than 500 triathletes have so far signed up for the Olympic-style Sun Life 5150 Triathlon Bohol set to fire off on July 10 at Bellevue Resort on Panglao Island.
This will be the first multisport event in the postpandemic time, with the host province ensuring another successful staging of the 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-km bike and 10-km run plus Sprint distance races in one of the country’s top triathlon hubs.
“Bohol has been a host venue for triathlon events the past decade and we have been in coordination with local authorities to help guarantee the safe conduct of the event,” said Princess Galura, general manager of the organizing The Ironman Group/Sunrise Events. Inc.
