MANILA, Philippines — After winning her recent fight in ONE Championship and bringing home a bronze medal from vovinam in the 31st Southeast Asian Games, Jenelyn Olsim accomplished her college degree at University of Baguio.
Team Lakay coach Mark Sangiao proudly bared on Thursday that Olsim just finished her degree in Political Science.
“Look who added another feather in her cap!” Sangiao wrote. “Now, this is something to be proud about, defining an ideal student-athlete.”
“In Team Lakay, education occupies an indispensable place. Congratulations Jen, glide high!” he added.
The 25-year-old has been achieving a lot of things this year.
The atomweight fighter beat Brazilian Julie Mezabarba by split decision in ONE 158 last June 3 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Olsim also won a bronze medal in the SEA Games last May in Hanoi, Vietnam.
