MANILA, Philippines—Katrina Guillou delivered the game-winning goal in the nick of time as the Philippine women’s football team wrapped up its series of international friendlies with a 2-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday in Brezice, Slovenia.

Trailing Bosnia and Herzegovina, 0-1, the Filipinas leaned on the late goals of Quinley Quezada and Guillo in a span of five minutes to pull off a come-from-behind victory.

Sara Eggesvik found Quezada, who converted the assist to equalize the match, 1-1, in the 85th minute.

Before the final whistle, Guillou struck in the 90th minute to beat the Bosnian goalkeeper, who failed to catch the ball, as the national team escaped with its second straight win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Selma Kapetanovic opened the scoring for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 11th minute.

The Filipinas got their second win on European soil, asserting their 3-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday.

The Alen Stajcic-coached team fell to Ireland, 0-1, in its first friendly.

The Philippines is preparing for the 2022 Asean Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship next month, where it is slated in Group A with Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
