Palace aide confident of Pacman victory
MANILA, Philippines — On the eve of Manny Pacquiao’s fight with undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley, a Malacañang Palace functionary said she was confident the Filipino eight-division world champion would emerge victorious.
“Certainly, we are wishing Congressman Pacquiao well,” said Abigail Valte, one of President Benigno Aquino III’s spokespersons, on radio.
“We are wishing him the best of luck. We’re confident that after the fight, it would still be Congressman Pacquiao who’d prevail over Timothy Bradley,” she added.
