MANILA, Philippines — Celine Domingo won her first Finals MVP award after leading Creamline to a title in the Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference.

The Far Eastern University middle blocker rose to the occasion in the gold medal match, nailing four blocks to finish with 11 points.

Creamline overpowered KingWhale Taipei, 25-21, 25-19, 25-8, for its second straight championship this season on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Domingo became the third Cool Smasher to win the Finals MVP, joining previous winners Jia De Guzman and Alyssa Valdez.

Creamline has now won five PVL titles in seven finals appearances.

The Rebisco-owned team has five MVPs on its starting six with the 5-foot-10 middle blocker joining Conference MVP Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza.

The 23-year-old Domingo and the Cool Smashers will also represent the country in the AVC Cup for Women from August 21-29 at PhilSports Arena after emerging as Invitational Conference champions.
