NU played without key players Steve Nash Enriquez (hamstring), John Lloyd Clemente (sick) and Kean Baclaan, who is not allowed to play yet after being acquired by the Bulldogs a few days ago.
With the Bulldogs just ahead by three 63-60, John Figueroa converted a reverse layup to start a string of clutch NU baskets. JM Galinato and MJ Malonzo then delivered the finishing touches for the Bulldogs, 73-64, with only 1:11 remaining.
