MANILA Philippines—Already without head coach Chot Reyes, defending champion TNT lost versatile big man Poy Erram late into the second quarter of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals Game 7 with San Miguel Beer on Sunday night.

Erram was slapped with a disqualifying flagrant foul penalty 2 with 55 ticks remaining in the second quarter after hitting Beermen forward Mo Tautuaa with an elbow.

Tautuaa, who was picked first overall by TNT back in 2015, had to be treated in the San Miguel dugout for a gash to the head.

He went on to hit two of his freebies as Erram headed to the TNT dugout.

San Miguel, which is looking to reclaim its lofty perch in the PBA’s centerpiece tournament,  is leading TNT, 66-55, as of posting time.

Reyes was earlier scrubbed from the contest due to the league’s health and safety protocols.
