NCAA releases revised men’s basketball schedule after postponement

MANILA, Philippines—The NCAA has released a revised men’s basketball tournament schedule following the recent postponement of San Sebastian’s games after several Stags players were placed under health and safety protocols.

The game between San Sebastian and Lyceum originally set on Saturday will now be played on October 9.

The Stags’ clash with the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals, which was also postponed, has been moved to October 14 at 10 a.m. before the All-Star Game at 12 nn.

On Friday, the league was forced to postpone a pair of San Sebastian games after six Stags were under health protocols.

Under league rules, if a team has two or more players under health protocols, they will have to refrain from playing for the next seven days.

College of St. Benilde versus San Beda plus Jose Rizal University’s tussle against San Sebastian were also adjusted to October 11.

The original doubleheader on October 11 featuring Arellano-Lyceum and EAC-Letran will be played the following day on October 12.

The Pirates and the Blazers are currently tied in first place at 3-1.
