PBA games postponed due to Super Typhoon Karding

MANILA, Philippines—The PBA postponed its scheduled Commissioner’s Cup doubleheader on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena due to Super Typhoon Karding.

The league made the announcement through its social media platforms after Metro Manila was placed under Signal No. 3 and the typhoon expected to make landfall over Central Luzon.

NLEX was scheduled to face Meralco at 4:30 p.m. followed by Barangay Ginebra against Converge at 6:45 p.m.

Both games will be rescheduled on a later date, the PBA also said.

NLEX and Converge won their opening matches last Friday while Meralco and Ginebra were supposed to kick off their respective campaigns in the midseason tournament.

Meanwhile, the third leg of the PBA 3×3 slated Monday and Tuesday at Robinsons Antipolo was also postponed.
