NBA: Ben Gordon arrested for allegedly striking his son—reports
Former 11-year NBA pro Ben Gordon was arrested at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Monday for allegedly striking his 10-year-old son with a closed fist, the New York Post and TMZ reported.

Article continues after this advertisementm boarding his flight to Chicago and arrested, per the reports, which noted that his son was taken to Long Island Jewish Children’s Hospital for evaluation and placed in the care of an aunt.
TMZ reported that even prior to the incident, the child had a restraining order in effect against Gordon. TMZ also reported that Gordon resisted arrest, with the Post reporting that two officers sustained minor injuries during the arrest.
Gordon has been previously arrested multiple times, including for assault and robbery in 2017.

Gordon made the All-Rookie team in 2004-05 and was the league’s top sixth man that season. He retired after the 2014-15 season.
