Tagged as a favorite before the NCAA men’s basketball tournament started, San Sebastian needs to turn things around if it wants to matter later.
With a four-game losing streak where the Stags lost by an average margin of 5.5 points, San Sebastian will be taking on winless Emilio Aguinaldo College in the only game slated at 3 p.m. at FilOil Flying V Centre.
And coach Egay Macaraya knows exactly what ails his Stags, and hopes he would have addressed them in time for Friday’s game.
“I’m hoping we could have a better end game execution and decision making. That’s our main concern right now,” said Macaraya, whose charges were so impressive in the preseason that they were tagged as title favorites.
The Stags will come into the contest still licking the wounds of an 82-79 overtime loss to Lyceum last Sunday.
With a 2-5 record, the Stags are way behind in the Final Four race with 10 games left in their elimination round schedule.
