MANILA, Philippines—Emilio Aguinaldo College, the NCAA Season 98 men’s basketball tournament’s lone winless team, is about to take another major hit.

Two players from the Generals’ lineup will sit out for the remainder of the competition, while another two will not be present in future games due to team decision, coach Oliver Bunyi confirmed.

King Gurtiza and Ralph Robin committed “team violations” that left Bunyi with no other option but to suspend them for the rest of season.

Art Cosa and Joshua Tolentino also committed violations but will only be suspended for an undisclosed number of games.

The Generals will miss the services of their third best scorer in Ralph Robin, who is averaging 8.43 points per game in the first round.

Tolentino, a rookie in Bunyi’s lineup, will also be missed by EAC. He served as a consistent role player for the team, playing over 20 minutes a game.

The Generals, most recently, dropped their game against San Sebastian on Friday, 78-61.

EAC still has no wins under its belt after nine games in round one.
