Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole signed a multi-year contract extension on Sunday.

The Warriors did not disclose terms of the deal, but Poole’s representation, CAA Sports, told ESPN on Saturday that the sides were finalizing a four-year, $140 million contract extension.

“We’re thrilled to have Jordan in the fold for the next several years,” Warriors executive vice president/general manager Bob Myers said. “He’s one of the bright, young players in our league, and his worth ethic and commitment to the game are impressive qualities that can’t be understated. He’ll be an important part of our future core and success, much like he was during last year’s run to the NBA championship.”

The extension comes ahead of Monday’s deadline for members of the 2019 NBA Draft class. It also comes on the heels of teammate Draymond Green’s punch of Poole during a recent practice.

Poole, 23, is entering his fourth season after the Warriors selected him with the 28th overall pick in 2019.

Poole averaged 18.5 points, four assists and 3.4 rebounds in 76 games (51 starts) last season. He also led the NBA in free throw percentage (92.5) last season.
