MANILA, Philippines—Greg Slaughter played sparingly in his first two games in Japan but Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka still completed a home sweep of the Yamagata Wyverns in the 2022-23 B.League second division at Teriha Sekisui House Arena.
The 7-foot center made his B2 debut on Monday as he started for Fukuoka but only logged nine minutes in an 86-84 overtime victory over Yamagata.
Slaughter had four points, three rebounds, and a block in limited action.
On Tuesday, the 34-year-old center hardly played coming off the bench in the Rizing Zephyr’s 66-64 win over Wyverns to complete the sweep.
The former PBA player only saw action for three minutes and was scoreless with two rebounds.
Fukuoka improved to a 3-3 record.
