The Blazer’s performance fueled him to pick up the weekly plum deliberated by the Collegiate Press Corps and presented by San Miguel Corporation and Philippine Sports Commission.

“I’m happy that I got my career-high but hopefully we continue winning. Maybe it’s just my day today but I feel that in the next games, my teammates will be the ones to work for the win,” he said.

For CSB coach Charles Tiu, however, improvement will continue to be the key for the big man’s progression and possible hailing as league MVP.

“It is what I’m looking for in Will except for the turnovers. He really carried up but he still had seven turnovers and zero assists,” said Tiu after the win against the Heavy Bombers.
