MANILA, Philippines – B-Meg went on a second-half surge to rout Alaska, 77-61, Wednesday night in the 2012 PBA Governors Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Llamados jumped on the Aces with a 20-4 blitz capped by a PJ Simon basket to break loose from a 38-all tally in the first half.
B-Meg hiked its winning streak to five after dropping its opening game while Alaska fell to 1-5.
Swingman JC Intal shone with 13 points, four rebounds, two steals and one block.
Alaska was held to just eight points in the pivotal third period.
