MANILA, Philippines—Omar Sneed unleashed 27 points and Powerade kept its win streak alive following an 86-83 triumph over Ginebra Friday in the 2012 PBA Governors Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Sneed, who also hauled down 11 rebounds and dished out three assists, shouldered the offensive cudgels for the Tigers as main man Gary David was limited to just 16 points.

A split from the stripe by Sneed—who poured 10 in the fourth—with five seconds left was good enough to seal the Tigers’ fourth straight victory—which has overhauled their nighmarish 0-2 start in the conference.

David ended his tremendous streak of scoring at least 20 points in the last 19 games as he only knocked down 16 points, going for 6-of-16 from the field.

The Gin Kings’ import Cedric Bozeman finished with 23 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals but hardly had an impact in the fourth quarter.

Kerby Raymundo scored all of his eight points in the payoff period where Ginebra even led, 77-74, before Sneed took over for Powerade.

Dylan Ababou had a chance to send the game into overtime for Ginebra, now at 3-3, but misfired on a fadeaway triple as the time expired.
