WITH the standings in the next round all settled, top teams Cebu and Dumaguete take on separate opponents today to warm up for the next stage in the Baseball Philippines Series 9, which goes back to Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
The Dolphins (11-3) will battle the two-time defending champions Manila Sharks at 10:30 a.m., while the Unibikers (10-4) collide with the Alabang Tigers at 1:30 p.m. The Batangas Bulls and the Taguig Patriots close out their season in the opening match at 7:30 a.m.
Even if the Dolphins and the Unibikers end up tied after eliminations, Cebu will still have the No. 1 spot via the winner-over-the-other rule.
