KBL: Rhenz Abando’s Anyang beats Wonju, SJ Belangel’s Daegu continues skid
MANILA. Philippines — Rhenz Abando saw limited action but the Anyang KGC was still too much for Ethan Albano and Wonju DB Promy, 92-74, in the 2022-23 Korean Basketball League season on Thursday at Anyang Gymnasium.
After being benched last Tuesday in their 84-82 win over Goyang Carrot Jumpers, Abando played for 11 minutes and finished with two points, two rebounds, and a steal as Anyang earned its second straight victory to end the year with an 18-8 record at the top seed.

Alvano outplayed his fellow Filipino import Abando as he displayed an all-around game of 11 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds but his efforts went for naught with Wonju suffering its second straight loss and sliding to a 10-16 record.
BELANGEL SCORES 10
